Vision

The vision of the Australian Burundian Community in Victoria Inc is to foster growth, interdependence, interconnectedness, unity, and achievement within the Burundian community in Victoria. 

Mission

As a not-for-profit community organization, we strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment where members can come together to celebrate their culture, support one another, and achieve their goals. Through our programs and initiatives, we aim to promote unity and collaboration, empowering individuals to reach their full potential and contribute positively to the Australian society.

Values

A growth mindset, unity, kindness, and mutual support are our chief values. 

 We are open to learning, adapting, and improving to better serve the community. 

Unity among members fosters a sense of belonging and collaboration, leading to more effective and impactful initiatives.

 Kindness towards one another creates a positive and supportive environment, encouraging everyone to work together towards common goals.

 Mutual support ensures that no one is left behind, and everyone has the resources and encouragement they need to succeed. 

Together, with determination and a shared vision, we can make a lasting and meaningful impact on the Burundian community.

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

The structure of the association in a not-for-profit community organization typically includes key roles such as the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Women Representative, and Youth Representative. 

The President is responsible for leading the organization and making key decisions, while the Vice President supports the President and may step in when needed. The Secretary is in charge of keeping records and handling communication, while the Treasurer manages the organization's finances. 

The Women Representative advocates for the needs and interests of women within the organization, while the Youth Representative does the same for young members. 

Together, these roles work to ensure the success and effectiveness of the association in serving its community.
